Utah Association of Counties (UAC) recognizes that teachers play an important role in educating Utah children about what counties do.
Research has shown, county government is the least understood form of government (comparing it to Federal, State and City).
To this end, we hope to provide Utah’s teachers with useful resources that will help close that gap of understanding.
Counties provide extraordinary services to the communities they serve–the more citizens understand how they function and are managed, the better they can serve everyone.
We hope you feel the materials and videos here are useful in helping you educate fourth and seventh grade students about county government in Utah. If you have any questions or feedback about counties or this site please contact us here.
